Beat the high costs of streaming services

In the age of so many streaming services, watching shows can rack up hefty subscription costs, especially now that streamers are steadily increasing their prices.

But there are some ways to beat the high costs.

Current Deals:

Netflix

Sky is offering a one-month free trial of TV and Netflix, or its 4K Smart TV, Sky Glass with Netflix for just £14 a month for the first three months.

EE are also offering six months of free Netflix when taking out an inclusive extra like the All Rounder.

Disney+

Samsung users can get Disney+ free for a year when buying a new phone or tablet.

Tesco Clubcard holders can buy a three month subscription to Disney+ for £7.50 worth of points.

O2 customers can get six-months for free when they buy a pay-monthly sim.

Apple TV

You can get Apple TV+ free for three months if you have a Currys Perks, or for buying an eligible Apple device like an iPhone or iPad.

EE also offer six months of Apple TV+ for free when taking out an inclusive extra like the All Rounder.

Leapfrogging

Leapfrogging is a simple concept; instead of paying for multiple streaming services, you can hop between them, to watch the shows you want to. You don’t have to be beholden to one streaming service at a time- paying for them for as little as three months, then moving onto the next could help you save money in the long run. This could be an especially savvy move if you’re signing up for free trials, then cancelling your subscription before it renews.
