Double Clubcard points for Tesco shoppers
For the first time in over a decade, Tesco Clubcard members will be able to collect double points when they shop.
The offer is already live - starting on 8 January - and will last until 25 February, with more than 20 million Tesco Clubcard members set to benefit.
Usually, Clubcard members get one point for every £1 spent. However, for the next seven weeks, they’ll earn two points for every £1.
Clubcard members earn points when they shop instore and online. They can also pick them up when they fill up at a Tesco petrol station or eat in one of the store cafes.
Tesco Clubcard points can be exchanged for vouchers which can be used for buying groceries or fuel.
They can even be exchanged for vouchers that can be used for meals out, holidays and even streaming services at over 100 participating partners including Pizza Express, Chef & Brewer, Disney+, Hotels.com, RAC and Thorpe Park Resort through the Tesco Reward Partners Exchange.
Emma Botton, the customer director for Tesco Group, said they wanted to offer the ‘best value for customers.’
She said: “Many of us could do with a little boost in January so we are delighted to bring over 20 million Clubcard members the added joy of double points for the next seven weeks.
“Whether you want to save up your Clubcard points to use towards a special moment like a holiday or simply for money off your shopping or fuel, it’s our extra thank you to Tesco Clubcard members for shopping with us.”
