Get a free pizza at Pizza Express
Pizza Express is celebrating National Pizza Day this Friday by giving away free pizzas to customers wearing black and white stripped t-shirts.
The national pizza chain is rewarding customers who ‘earn their stripes’ by wearing t shirts similar to their distinctive uniform with their choice of free classic, gluten-free or vegan Margherita pizza in its restaurants up and down the country.
To claim their free pizza, customers need to dress up and grab a National Pizza Day token from its website. The tokens are available on a ‘first come, first serve’ basis.
The offer runs until 4pm on February 9 and you’ll need to be seated by this time to be eligible for your free pizza.
There is no minimum spend for the deal and it’s valid for groups of people too as long as they all follow the eligibility criteria.
Pizza Express gives the following example; if two people visit our pizzeria together but only one is wearing a stripped t-shirt, then only the person in the stripped t-shirt can get the freebie. If both customers are wearing a stripped t-shirt, they’ll receive a free pizza each.
Paula MacKenzie, CEO at Pizza Express, said: “The National Pizza Day sees us pay homage to our incredible pizza chefs, through celebrating our iconic black and white stripes. Stripes have played a huge part of our identity, dating back to 1965, so do your stripes and celebrate National Pizza Day with the original Margherita pizza for free.”
