Fancy a free cuppa? Morrisons is giving them away – and they’re not the only ones

If you’ve got a Morrisons More card, there’s a new reason to use it.

From 1 to 28 September, when you spend £10 or more in a single in-store transaction, you’ll get a free refillable hot drink at selected Morrisons Cafés.

To claim your free drink, just swipe your More card at the checkout. You’ll either receive a printed voucher at the till or a digital coupon in the Morrisons app. If it’s digital, remember to activate the offer in the app before you order your drink at the café.

The deal includes popular hot drinks like coffee, lattes, cappuccinos, hot chocolate, flat whites, tea, including herbal options, and more.

Takeaway drinks are excluded and the £10 spend must be after any discounts.

You can claim one hot drink per week, and you’ll need to use your voucher within seven days of shopping.

Other places offering free hot drinks

Morrisons isn’t the only retailers giving away free hot drinks to customers.

IKEA

IKEA offers free tea and coffee in its restaurants on weekdays. All you need is an IKEA Family card, which is free and easy to sign up for online. Just scan your card at the restaurant counter and enjoy your drink.

Waitrose

Waitrose also gives away free coffee and tea to its loyalty card holders. With a My Waitrose card, you can help yourself to a drink from their self-serve machines in store.

They’ve teamed up with Nero Roasting Company, so the coffee is high quality. Just make sure to bring a reusable cup.

Costa Coffee

At Costa Coffee, you can earn free drinks through the Costa Club. For every 10 drinks you buy, you get one free. Use a reusable cup, and you earn extra points, or ‘beans’, even faster. The app makes it easy to track your rewards.

Greggs

Greggs gives away a completely free hot drink when you download and sign up to their app and there’s no purchase required. The offer appears automatically in the app’s ‘wallet’ section and is valid for 31 days.

Octoplus

If you’re with Octopus Energy and have a smart meter, you could be eligible for Octoplus, their rewards programme. It regularly releases codes for free hot drinks at Caffè Nero or Greggs, with thousands of codes available every month.

With autumn on the way, this is the perfect time to make the most of free hot drink offers.
