And if you’re on a tight budget, booking other major gigs and festivals might not be an option.

But if you simply must have your festival fix this summer, why not consider a tribute festival?

Not only do they offer affordable ticket prices, they’re also family-friendly and come with all the extras you'd expect at a summer gig - from street food stalls to funfair rides.

That means you get the full festival experience for a fraction of the cost.

And as an added bonus, you’ll probably know all the songs.

Tribute festivals to watch out for

GlastonBARRY, South Wales - 26-27 July

Head to the seaside town of Barry to enjoy 22 amazing acts, including tributes to Queen, Oasis, Fleetwood Mac and, of course, Wales’s favourite son Tom Jones.

Festwich, Manchester - 30-31 August

Oasis might be the big name on at Heaton Park this summer, but you can also enjoy great tunes at the same venue by heading to Festwich, where the line-up includes tributes to acts like Coldplay, Slipknot and Amy Winehouse.

There really is something for everyone all over the country - and all at a much lower price than the big-name events.

So if you’re looking for that festival buzz without the hefty price tag, why not give one of these events a go?
