Need a breather after Easter? Swing by Tesco this weekend, they’re giving away free drinks and snacks
Tesco is offering shoppers a chance to pause and recharge by handing out complimentary treats in selected stores across the UK.

On Saturday, 11 April, you’ll find special ‘Park & Pause’ bays set up in ten Tesco locations.
If you pull in, you’ll be treated to a free Tesco Finest hot drink and a biscuit, perfect if you need a quick moment to yourself.
You don’t even need to leave your car. Tesco ambassadors will be on hand to pass your cuppa straight through your window between 8am and 5pm. Just look out for the bays marked with a stopwatch symbol.
The idea is to give busy shoppers a chance to slow down, take a breath, and enjoy a little break in their day.
It’s all part of Tesco’s new “Need anything from Tesco?” campaign, and it turns out, a lot of us really do.
According to Tesco’s own research, 42% of Brits admit they sometimes head to the supermarket just to get a bit of peace and quiet.
If you’ve got young kids, you’ll probably relate even more. Around 68% of parents with children under four say they volunteer for a supermarket run just to grab a few minutes alone, compared to 38% of people without kids.
So if you fancy a quick reset, and a free drink and biscuit while you’re at it, here’s where you can find the Park & Pause bays this Saturday:
- Cardiff Culverhouse Cross Extra (Wales)
- Coventry Walsgrave Superstore
- Leeds Seacroft Extra
- Musselburgh Extra (Scotland)
- Newcastle Upon Tyne Extra
- Nottingham Top Valley Extra
- Portsmouth Extra
- Royston Extra
- Southport Extra
- Wembley Extra
If you’re nearby, it’s a nice little excuse to take five because sometimes, you just need a pause.
