As part of its summer ‘Golden Ticket’ giveaway, the supermarket is offering 10 lucky winners a year’s worth of fuel, worth up to £2,000. The prize draw runs from Friday 19 July to Sunday 21 July 2025, and it’s open to anyone filling up at one of Asda’s 300+ petrol stations.

How to enter

It’s simple. Just head to an Asda petrol station between Friday 19 July and Sunday 21 July and fill up your tank. If you're one of the lucky winners, you’ll be handed a golden ticket at the pump.

There are 10 golden tickets up for grabs across the UK. Each one is worth up to £2,000 in fuel vouchers, which Asda says could cover a year’s worth of petrol or diesel for the average driver.

Even if you don’t win the top prize, there’s still a silver lining. All drivers filling up during the promotional weekend will receive a voucher for 5p off per litre to use on their next visit, helping to shave a little extra off your fuel bill.

A significant saving

Fuel is one of those unavoidable costs for most of us, especially if you rely on your car for work, school runs, or caring responsibilities. And with the cost of living still biting, a year’s worth of free fuel could make a real difference.

According to the RAC, the average price of petrol is still hovering around 145p per litre. That means the typical UK driver spends over £1,400 a year on fuel, so this giveaway could make a real difference to your household budget.
