Struggling to pay your energy bill?
There is lots of help available if you’re struggling with energy costs.
If you’re struggling to pay your bill, the first thing to do is contact your supplier. If your problems are temporary, they may offer a payment break until your situation improves.
They may also be able to change the frequency of your payments if that would make it easier for you to budget.
As well as getting in touch with your energy provider, it’s a good idea to check you’re claiming all the financial support you’re entitled to.
Fallen behind with your energy bill?
If you’ve fallen behind with your energy bill, your supplier will be in touch about ways to catch up.
Don’t ignore the problem as this could eventually result in them switching off your supply.
