simply because i’ve put off addressing this issue over and over and over again due to feeling overwhelmed and just scared to address the subject i can’t explain why it just fills me with dread and anxiety so i have hid from it, until today and i’m feeling like a bit more positive already and like there may be some light in the tunnel now. This is due to the understanding i received, and the fact that im not totally alone dealing with it, i now have someone to help me and i feel a bit more hopeful. let’s see how it ends up though.

Excellent, sensitive, and thorough.

I was very nervous and anxious when I called (I hate talking about debt) but the person I spoke to put me at ease straight away. She offered lots of advice and info, but at a pace that suited me, repeating that ultimately it was up to me to decide which course of action suited me and my situation and personal needs best. I couldn’t decide straight away so it was nice to know there was no pressure and no rush and I can get back to them when I’ve thought it through . She was empathetic and understanding, repeated stuff I didn’t understand, and left plenty of space for me to ask questions. It really was an excellent service and I can’t recommend it highly enough.

I should have probably done my DRO last year, I always push debt and even help to the side due to anxiety. I finally pushed forwards in May and get my DRO into place, everything was as simplified as it could be and having to talk and discuss things with someone is minimal. You’ll submit your forms after referral, watch a few videos, asked to provide information and evidence via email. This can take weeks but once you’ve done that, you’ll schedule a call and get your DRO submitted for review the same day. That call is genuinely nothing to be feared of, you answer questions honestly and to the best of your knowledge, you’ll be offered any relevant support if needed and done. Don’t put off your DRO due to anxiety and pretending your problems will just go away - they won’t & you’ll be thankful you took the time to make a big step back to financial freedom.
