Aldi trumps Sainsburys with the cheapest Christmas meal

Earlier this week, Sainsbury’s announced it would be offering a Christmas meal for six people for just under £20 for Nectar customers.

Aldi has beaten that by offering a complete festive feast for just £2.66 a head for six people – or £16 in total.

The deal, which is available from 18 December includes:

Ashfields Small British Whole Turkey 3.245kg – approx. £12.17

Nature’s Pick Potatoes 2Kg – 99p

Nature’s Pick Carrots 1Kg – 60p

Nature’s Pick Parsnips 500g – 65p

Nature’s Pick Brussels Sprouts 500g – 95p

Quixo Sage & Onion Stuffing Mix 170g – 45p

Quixo For Meat Reduced Salt Gravy Granules 300g - £1.09

Unlike the Sainsbury’s deal, Aldi’s doesn’t come with a desert, so you’ll have to stump up more for a sweet treat but you do need to be a Nectar member to enjoy the saving, whereas Aldi’s Christmas dinner is available to everyone.
