Scent-sational deals of the week
The Black Friday madness might be over, but who says the deals have to stop? If you didn’t overspend (high five to you) and you're still on the lookout for more bargains, we’ve rounded up some of the best discounts, with the usual brand trivia thrown in for good measure.
20% off fragrances at the Fragrance Shop (all year round!)
Want to smell like a million dollars without spending it? The Fragrance Shop offers 20% off fragrances all year long! Plus, get free delivery and fragrance samples from luxury brands like Yves Saint Laurent and Hugo Boss. All you need to do is become a member (there are three tiers and while they’re not free, they could save you money in the long run).
Whether you're shopping for yourself or someone special, these discounts are scent-sational.
If you thought The Fragrance Shop was just an online store, then think again! With over 200 locations, including a massive new spot at Lakeside Shopping Centre in West Thurrock, Essex, it’s the UK’s largest independent fragrance retailer, so you’ve no excuse not to stop and smell the savings.
Boohoo women’s clothing sale
No need to cry ‘boo-hoo’ over missed bargains here, as you can save up to 80% off selected women’s clothing in the Boohoo sale. From edgy leather jackets to show-stopping sequined maxis, Boohoo’s got your Christmas party outfit sorted for less.
Did you know, Boohoo adds new dresses, tops, accessories and shoes to its website every day? Yep, it uses what's known as the ‘test and repeat’ model, producing small batches of lots of new styles. The best-selling items are then churned out quick-fire. Talk about fashion on demand!
Free tea and coffee for IKEA Family members
Get your caffeine fix while you hunt for that perfect piece of furniture. If you’re an IKEA Family member (it’s free to join, btw), you can get free tea and coffee every weekday. But that’s not all, membership also means discounts on products and exclusive access to fun workshops.
Now for some brand trivia: IKEA’s name is an acronym for its founder Ingvar Kamprad, the farm where he grew up (Elmtaryd), and his village (Agunnaryd). Now that’s a pub quiz-worthy fact!
Scrumptious savings on chocolate tubs with a Tesco Clubcard
Heroes, Quality Street, Roses or Celebrations? Why not skip the decision and just buy the lot? They’ll be gone by Christmas Eve anyway! And with your Tesco Clubcard, you can bag a tub for just £3.95 (down from £6). Hard to say no, really.
And here’s a sweet brand fact. The famous ‘purple one’ in Quality Street used to have a Brazil nut, but due to WWII shortages, it got swapped for a hazelnut but still keeps its Brazil nut shape!
Designer sale at Selfridges
Shop for high-end pieces without the sky-high prices at the Selfridges designer sale. You’ll find up to 30% off brands like AllSaints and Boss, and up to 50% off others like Eton.
Now for some fun Selfridges trivia. The luxury department store was founded by American retail mogul Harry Gordon Selfridge in 1908. But by the 1930s, Selfridge was in serious debt because of his extravagant lifestyle and ruthlessly banished from his own business. That’s when the apostrophe was dropped and Selfridges became what it is today.
Whether you're shopping for Christmas or treating yourself (no judgement here!), grab these deals while you can, they won’t be around forever.
