Stay warm this winter with Aldi’s budget electric throw

With temperatures dropping as quickly as energy prices have risen, many households are looking for ways to stay warm without spending too much.

Instead of turning on the heating, an electric throw is a great way to get toasty without bursting the bank.

And while many on the market can be on the pricier side, budget supermarket Aldi’s come up trumps again with their special buy this week (from Thursday 17 October) – a heated throw for a fraction of competitors’ prices at £29.99.

The Ambiano heated throw costs 4p an hour to run and comes in three colours, dark grey, light grey or cream.

It has nine heating levels, in-built overheat protection and turns off automatically.

If you want one, it’s best to move quickly. Since it’s a Specialbuy, it’ll only be around for as long as stocks last.

Dreading putting the heating on?

If you’re a customer of Octopus or Ovo Energy, you might be able to get a free electric blanket.

Both suppliers are offering them this winter to combat rising energy costs.

You can also look into grants – many energy companies offer financial help to those who need it.

Check out our guide on grants and benefits for more information about the additional support that’s out there.
